Frequently Asked Question
Security Alert from Outlook (outlook.office365.com) - The security certificate was issued by a company you have not chosen to trust. The name on the security certificate is invalid. dsldevice.domain_not_set.invalid
Last Updated 2 years ago
This error will occur for anyone who's left Outlook running overnight and AT&T has reset or bounced the AT&T Router for updates.
This alert can be disregarded as once the router is back up and fully functioning, normal and secure service with Microsoft office365.com should be restored. However, you will have to choose an option to the "Do you want to proceed?" prompt to continue using Outlook. If the internet service is still truly down, you'll not be able to send/receive email anyway, therefore users can completely close Outlook and wait until internet service is fully restored before launching and using Outlook.
